Hidden Lake Park is the name used for music created by NC musician Reed Benjamin. Reed records solo whenever time permits. His music reminds us of indie rock luminaries as diverse as Mark Kozelek and Jandek. His arrangements are surprisingly complex in their catchy simplicity - amazingly cohesive for a solo project. Reed played drums for a number of bands before deciding to start writing and recording on his own. His first official release Of The Land is an intimate collection of lo-fi tape hiss goodness, showcasing his talent for creating a warm and fuzzy musical atmosphere, packed with hidden surprises.
